Adison Evans combines pure excitement and the luscious sound of a fresh voice… to create one compelling performance after another. Her infectious smile and contagious personality are only surpassed by her old soul and big baritone sound.
Adison just graduated from The Juilliard School in New York City. She has shared the stage with several legendary artists including Tricia Yearwood, Christian McBride, Terence Blanchard, Benny Golson, Frank Wess, Gerald Wilson, and many more. Adison recently made her debut in the pop world sharing the stage with Beyonce.
Evans has toured and taught in Japan, West Palm Beach, the entire East Coast, and Utah just to name a few places. In addition to touring, Adison can be heard playing all over New York City in venues such as Alice Tully Hall, Jazz at Lincoln Center’s Dizzy’s Club Coca-Cola, Peter Jay Sharp Theater, Smoke Jazz and Supper Club, and The Lenox Lounge.
During her time at Juilliard, Miss Evans also focuses on composition and arranging in addition to playing the saxophone. Just this past year, Evans started teaching ear training at the school and has been hired to teach in Juilliard’s “Music Advancement Program”.
In addition to completing a BM in jazz performance from Juilliard, Adison briefly attended the French Culinary Institute in Soho, NYC. Evans looks forward to propelling her career forward in combining her two passions, jazz music and food.
